The Elite Cricket Masterclass.
Three days. Eight players. No filler.
Pre-season is where summers are won and lost. Most players know that. But knowing it and actually doing something about it are two different things.
This Easter, I'm running a three-day masterclass at The Sports Warehouse for young cricketers who are serious about their game. Serious being the key word. I'm capping each group at eight players because we want to actually coach you, not just supervise a nets session.
Here's what the three days will look like.
Day 1. THE FOUNDATION.
We start with the mechanics. Batting lines, repeatable bowling actions, athletic movement in the field. Before you can do anything else well, these need to be solid. We will find what's working and what isn't, and we'll be honest about it.
Day 2. THE MODERN GAME.
White-ball skills. Power-hitting done properly (not just swinging hard and hoping) and for bowlers, the art of making the batter guess. Cutters, change-ups, variations. The skills that win games in 2026.
Day 3. THE PRESSURE TEST.
Everything goes into match scenarios. You will bat and bowl under pressure, defend totals, chase targets and get real-time feedback. This is where it all comes together.
THE DETAILS
The masterclass runs on March 30, 31 and April 1 at The Sports Warehouse, Flint.
Under 13s (aged 9 to 13): 1pm to 3pm each day. Under 17s (aged 14 to 17): 3:30pm to 5:30pm each day.
The full three-day programme is £60.
Places are limited and it's first come, first served. To book, email bookings@sportswarehouseflint.com with the player's name, age, and anything specific you'd like us to work on.
I'll see you on the 30th.
